At Artisan Valley, we take pride in providing fertile chicken eggs of the highest quality. Here’s how our process works to ensure you get the best experience possible. Remember: We can ship nation wide! You can expect your eggs in the following time frames from drop off at the depot.
North Island: 1-3 days
South Island: 2-3 days
If you are rural, you can expect to add another 1-3 days to the above timeframes.
Placing an Order
Browse our selection of fertile eggs from various breeds and place your order online.
Orders are processed in the order they are received.
Some breeds have a maximum quantity available to be ordered. This is due to small flock numbers so we can ensure eggs are fresh when sent off.
Availability of Eggs
Fertile eggs are produced naturally, and availability can vary depending on our hens’ laying schedules.
Please note: We currently have a limited number of hens, which means the number of eggs we can provide at any given time is restricted.
If the full quantity of eggs you’ve ordered is available, we will pack and ship your order promptly.
When Eggs Are Unavailable
If we don’t have the full number of eggs in stock to complete your order, your name will be added to our waitlist.
We will fulfill your order as soon as we have the total quantity available, ensuring that all your eggs arrive together.
Time-Sensitive Orders
If you have a specific timeline in mind, please contact us before placing your order to confirm if we can meet your deadline.
This way, we can work with you to accommodate your needs or suggest alternative solutions.
Shipping and Handling
We carefully package all eggs to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
Shipping notifications and tracking details will be provided once your order is dispatched.
To ensure your eggs arrive as fresh as possible, we only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays.
All parcels are sent out early in the morning to minimize transit time and maximize freshness.

Important Information About Shipped Eggs
Shipped eggs are always a bit of a gamble. While I take great care to package them securely to minimize damage during transit, once they are handed over to the postal service, they are beyond my control. As such, I cannot guarantee how many eggs will hatch.
Please remember: I am selling eggs, not chicks. Hatch rates can be influenced by many factors, including handling during shipping, incubation conditions, and other variables beyond my control. For this reason, we are unable to replace eggs that fail to develop.
